Karen Parnell is a Level 3 British Triathlon and IRONMANU certified triathlon coach, an 8020 Endurance certified coach plus WOWSA Level 3 open water swimming coach with years of experience helping athletes reach their goals. Originally from the UK and now based in Spain, she coaches athletes worldwide with a thoughtful, science-backed approach that’s rooted in real-world results.

Karen is currently studying for an MSc in Sports Performance Coaching at the University of Stirling.

What’s the difference between a customised plan and a generic one?

Generic plans are one-size-fits-all. A customised plan is built entirely around you—your goals, time to train, experience, and preferences. It’s structured to help you improve, stay consistent, and enjoy the process.

How long does it take to get my plan?

Once you complete the athlete questionnaire, your plan is usually delivered within 5–7 days. We’ll check in with you if we need any extra details, and you’ll have the chance to review and sign off before training starts.

Do I need a paid TrainingPeaks or Final Surge account?

Nope. A free account on either platform works perfectly. If you already have a paid account, we can work with that too.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Whether you’re just starting out or returning after a break, we’ll build a plan that supports your fitness level and sets you up for success—without overwhelm.

What’s included in the €125 fee?

You get a fully customised training plan for up to 20 weeks, coach email support, and full review/approval before you begin. No hidden fees. Just a smart, structured way to train with confidence.

Can I get a plan for multiple races or a season?

Yes, we can factor in A, B, and C races, or build around a full season if you include that info in your questionnaire. We’ll make sure the structure supports your key events. If you need a plan over 20 weeks please get in touch and we can discuss the details and fee.
